A member asked:

Why do we advise for vitd supplementation, even though vitd is proreabsorptive and activates osteoclasts?

Lots of research: supports the usefulness of vitamin D3 supplementation. It boosts immunity, it also directs minerals to the bones rather than the blood vessels when used in combination w/calcium. Bisphosphonates help create new bone but it is weaker than original bone. Calcium w.co-factors such as D3, K, Boron, etc. appears to be more effective. Peace and good health.
