Stop now: At 24 weeks, you are at least half way through. The damaging effects of smoking include retardation of fetal growth, so be sure you tell the person interpreting your ultrasounds that you smoke. Stopping smoking at any time is always beneficial in the long run. So try hard, please. Re due date; LMP is still reliable, particularly when US dates agree.

Smoking and pregnancy: Tobacco can certainly cause issues with pregnancy and the fetus condition. It can cause premature birth, miscarriage, too small baby for your gestation age( which might be the case here), among others. Try to get in a tobacco cessation program in order to help you quit smoking and avoid any complications. Speak to your dr. about this.
