Earliest: The earliest ultrasound is the most accurate and I would rely on that since you say your periods are irregular. The margin of error (how many weeks plus or minus) for ultrasounds increases as pregnancy progresses. All 3 day embryos are pretty much the same size but babies at term can be normal and be 6-9 pounds.
