Is it normal to experience hypersomnia while taking effexor (venlafaxine)?

You mean "tired?": It's common for people to have a side effect of fatigue & tiredness on Effexor. I'm assuming that's what you mean when you use that big "H" word. In fact, looking at your medication list I'd go so far as to say that if you didn't feel at least a little HYPERSOMNIC shall we say, while on Effexor, Paxil, and Buspar (buspirone) that I'd say you must have a Type Triple A personality? Ask your doc to readjust dose
