? Med Reaction: At 2 days it is very early in your treatment with effexor (venlafaxine). It is uncommon to see swelling with effexor (venlafaxine), however occasionally patients have reactions to medication. If you have significant swelling and a rash and think you may be having a reaction, you should hold your medication and contact your prescribing practioner asap to see how to proceed. Also have your BP checked if possible.
