Patellar Dislocation: Some people are more prone to dislocation of their patella. It is anatomical and the person's ligaments may be loose. You can be examined by your doctor to see if you have a tendency to have the same problem. Kneecaps are strong. All the best.

Quite strong: and strong ligaments attaching! Takes great force to tear or dislodge, unless there is some preexisting anomaly or disruption.
