Not really: Kidney pain is more mid-level back right near where rib cage ends on left & right side. You could have lower back pain if you were passing a kidney stone down one of your ureters.

Maybe.: Most kidney disease - with the exception of kidney stones and infection are pretty silent. Most LBP is just that - painful muscles and joints of the back. The pain more often associated with kidney is located just under the rib cage in the back - the costovertebral angle.
