Groin infx/abscess?: Sounds like it may be a groin abscess or possible folliculitits. Certainly a possible infection may be there causing your issues that periodic arise in the groin. See the Dr. when they are present, and get the proper diagnosis as the best treatment would follow. Sometimes cystic abscesses need to be !&D'd/excised or they will continue to return as long as their "core" remains. Best wishes.
