Healing wound: Don't worry about the steristrips, they usually fall off within a few days. Just let them fall off on their own.

Laceration: if the tissue appears together you should be ok but reapplying new strips might be best since the baby may tend to irritate the area as it heals. Best wishes to both of you!

No: Gently peel them off. OK to wash. Avoid alcohol. Avoid peroxide. Do not use bacitracin, neosporin, or triple antibiotic. OK to use vaseline or Aquaphor.
