What is a t5 verterbral fracture which is undisplaced?

Basically: Basically this means a broken bone in the spine that is not moved out of its normal anatomical position. Usually these types of fractures are treated with supports or spine braces.

T5 Vertebral fx: There are different types of fractures (breaks) that can effect the backbones. T5 means fifth thoracic vertebrae which is the middle of the back. A displaced fracture occurs when parts of bones move away from each other. With a non-displaced fracture you don't see that shifting. Take care.

Let me explain: This means thoracic spine number 5, which did not move out place. As you know the neck have 7 vertebrae and the thoracic spine have 12 vertebrae.

Thoracic5thVertebrae: Look up the anatomy of the thoracic vertebrae. Fracture means a break in the bone. Undisplaced means that, in the judgement of the viewer, the portions of the bone, whatever portion, which are broken are judged to still been in, or very close, to their usual position; i.e. no re-positioning is needed or desirable to allow healing of the break for good outcome over time.
