If your tonge was numb coukd you still eat and drink abd swallow normally?

Swallowing: Numb tongue will have minimal influence on your swallowing. Numbness is lack of sensation and not motor function. Do you have a significant anxiety disorder? Your medication may be causing oral dryness and mild decreased tongue sensation. Please consult your prescribing doctor for possible adjustment of medication.

Tongue: Maybe not. A part of swallowing is sensation so you may not be able to feel the food and liquid as well on that side which could alter your swallowing

You can but: You need to be careful, as your risk of aspiration can go up. It means take small bites, chew your food well and take your time.
