A member asked:

What do i have to ask the doctor to check in a blood test for a low libido?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

They should know: You shouldn't have to ask for specific tests. A well trained practitioner should be able to order tests appropriate for your concern, history and physical findings. A great provider will also be aware of their own boundaries and refer you to a specialist if necessary. A general panel of overall function (CBC, CMP) and various hormones would commonly be evaluated first.
