Not a problem: Hi. That shouldn't be a problem. Don't take more than the prescribed amount or longer than necessary; both drugs are addictive and subject to abuse.

Lortab is fine: To treat your pain. If you are taking Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) for another medical condition it is fine to take that as well, they do not interact. Make sure you have a specific medical indication for the Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine), as it is a commonly misused and abused medication that you can become dependent on.

Yes: Let your surgeon know that you are taking the Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine). You are more likely to have high blood pressure issues and can be affected by the epi in local anesthesia. However, you can take the Lortab for post-op pain. The Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) may increase the potency of the narcotic(opioid) so use cautiously. Good luck.

Why?: i don't see why you need to mix the drugs, stick with what your doctor recommended, he knows your condition best.try to take the least amount needed. If you have complications talk to your doctors, he can help you, antibiotics will reduce the infection and decrease the need for Addictive pain killers. ibuprofen and Tylenol (acetaminophen) work best.

Not recommended: It is very common to experience pain after tooth extraction. The pain relievers such as codeine and oxycodone, ibuprofen Tylenol (acetaminophen) are usually prescribed by the dentist/oral surgeon and must be taken as directed. Adderall with lortab are not recommended medications for this condition.

Ask Your Physician: Because the Lortab may combine with the pain mess your dentist gave you after the extraction, consult with your physician when to restart taking it.

Drug interactions: There are no interactions found between Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) and Lortab. However, this does not necessarily mean no interactions exist. ALWAYS consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
