Hips => knocked knee: Internal rotation of hips (anteversion) can be responsible for knocked knees. Occasionally the source of the knock knees (valgus alignment) is at the knee. Knee valgus can be corrected with a distal femoral (thigh bone) varus producing osteotomy (bone cut) that is secured with a plate & screws. A DFO (distal femoral osteotomy) will straighten the legs and help correct the knock knee appearance.
