Ineffective sleep: Seven or more hours of regular quality sleep per night should be more than adequate for daytime alertness. Sleep apnea is associated with daytime fatigue, morning headaches, poor concentration, hypertension, weight gain, and overall poor quality of life. A sleep study would be helpful in determining if there is a problem with your sleep quality or other sleep disorder (apnea, narcolepsy, etc).
