I am having two pale black vertical streaks on left thumb nail which are <1 mm in width , both are parallel to each other. is it subungual melanoma ?

No: subungual melanoma is a pigmented lesion that grows in a similar manner to cutaneous melanoma. Streaks along the nail are from contact and are probably not subungual. Subungual melanomas are aggressive and probably require, if shown to be melanoma, amputation of the digit.
