Not exactly: In very early pregnancy the uterus is still normal size so this will not contribute to an increase in abdominal size. It is about the size of your fist and located behind the pubic bone. Some experience bloating and constipation which can make the stomach larger. Others begin gaining weight from overeating due to hunger stimulated by pregnancy. This weight gain can make the stomach grow.
