Our 4 yr old is coughing a lot for the past 4 days throughout the day and night. no other symptoms. she's happy, playful, eating/drinking. worry?

Concern: Maybe a concern. Has she had the pertussis shot. A certain percentage of children get pertussis despite the shot. If not she may have gotten a mild case of pertussis also known as whooping cough, This is where the cough is severe and the whoop is when the child inhales at the end. have her see the doctor tomorrow and have her checked out.
