Look for fever: Fever, chills, and colored drainage are more typical of common cold symptoms. They generally last for 3-5 days. Mountain cedar allergy is commmon in the spring of the year. Depending on pollen counts, people can have lots of clear drainage, runny nose, and sneezing. Fever and chills are not seen, and symptoms can last for weeks.
