Keep trying!: There really is not a specific shampoo to recommend but look for these ingredients which seem to be healthier for hair: glycerin, protective barrier to hair follicles; nut & seed oils (jojoba, shea); acidic ingredients (sodium citrate/citric acid) helps keep right pH; panthenol, a form of vitamin B helps retain moisture. Avoid these: sulfates, isopropyl alcohol, formaldehyde, propylene glycol.
