My 2yr old always wants to be w/me &cuddle me, often rejecting my husband. he misses me while i'm at work, but i feel bad for husband. is it normal?

Quite common: Preference for one parent over the other is a very common occurrence during the changes that occur from infancy though elementary years. Often, the preference will seem to change abruptly and without cause. It takes a strong loving parent to understand that this is nothing personal, is generally a very normal stage, and will likely pass.
