Get it checked ASAP: Hello, Without knowing more about you, it's important to get this checked out with a 12 lead EKG by your doctor especially when the symptoms are occurring. You could have a wide variety of possible heart "arrythmias" (abnormal rhythms) like SVT, atrial fibrillation or PAC's. Some of these can be quite dangerous and can lead to serious problems, even death.

Heart fluttering: You should contact your doctor and check an EKG, you may have developed a rhythm problem with your heart. If you have any chest pain, shortness or breath or lightheadedness then go to the nearest emergency room. But would get seen soon about this.

Depends: Palpitations or fluttering can have many causes and many implications. Some are minor and some can be life threatening. This complaint would be best addressed at an Emergency Room where they can test your heart, check your rhythm and determine why you are having fluttering. Good luck
