See OB/GYN: Sometimes the fertilised egg attaches itself inside the lower part of your uterus. This means that the placenta will develop in a low-lying position. This can continue to stay there and put you at risk for bleeding called placenta praevia. However sometimes the placenta corrects itself. Your doctor will likely check ultrasounds to ensure you will do well during pregnancy. Good luck.
