Past Outbreaks.: Uganda had 3 Ebola outbreaks since 2000. Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) currently has an outbreak of Zaire Ebola virus which is independent of the outbreak in West Africa. There have been 67 cases w 49 deaths in 4 villages. This is the 7th reported Ebola outbreak in DRC.
