How long does it take the clinic to inform you of a bad std result?

One week: Usually minimum one week after the test is done or 7 business days.

Usually under a week: There's no hard and fast rule; each clinic is different. And some lab tests take longer than others. But for most of the standard STD tests (gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, HIV), I would expect results within 5 work days, sometimes sooner. Why not call your clinic and ask directly?
