Change pharmacy : If your insurance allows, change the prescription to a different pharmacy. But you may want to check with your insurance or formulary first because some insurance companies require you to get 30 day prescriptions if using a local pharmacy and a mail order pharmacy for 90 day supplies. Maybe you misunderstood why 30 day given. Either way the pharmacy should have your best interest covered.

Prescription woes: Most three month supplies of medications need to be mailed in, with most health insurances. Even if the prescription is written for 3 months, the pharmacies seem to only fill for a maximum of 30 days.

90 day supply: If a pharmacy loses money for dispensing a 90-day supply, it may refuse to fill the Rx if the reimbursement is less than the cost to purchase the drug. Perhaps you may want to contact your insurance for mail order options or find another pharmacy. Best of luck.
