A member asked:

Should i go to work with a corneal abrasion that was irritated again from a hair follicle that i removed and rubbed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Patch the eye: You will have a lot of pain and tearing after a corneal abrasion, the best way to avoid undue pain, light sensitivity, and to allow proper healing is to place a softy patch over the affected eye for a day or two 'til the sensitivity and pain are gone. Depending on what you do for work, you should be able to work with an eye patch, up to you.
