Wash and lubricate: Wounds heal best if kept moist. Vaseline and Aquaphor are very effective. Water is good. Avoid peroxide, alcohol, iodine. Avoid herbs. Avoid bacitracin, neosporin, triple antibiotic. All these antiseptics and antibiotics are useless and often interfere with healing.
