Scientific evidence: I found scientific evidence that peppermint tea Lowers androgen levels. while certain sources claim excessive peppermint consumption can promote hypothyroidism, I did not find scientific evidence for that. I would check the TSH level four weeks after being on a regular regimen of peppermint tea.

PCOS: Spearmint tea does not reduce testosterone levels to the degree necessary to assist with PCOS. It also does not have a clinical effect on thyroid hormone production. There are medications to induce ovulation if you are trying to conceive, but oral BCP are the best therapy for PCOS, and prevent other problems with PCOS.
