Are french bulldogs good with children?

No: I have not had personal experience with this specific breed mauling a patient. Dobermans, German Shepherd, and rottweilers are the top three breeds that maul children. Training is important, reminding children not to bother the dog while he is eating is important as this is associated with more bites. One breed which is known to be gentle to kids is a labrador.
