U R what U eat: Good nutrition is the foundation for good health. There is alot of misinformation & many opinions out there about what's good nutrition. My opinion is that everyone should stick to whole foods, avoiding sugar and most grains, and avoid processed foods (anything in a box or wrapper). Whole foods include unprocessed meat, fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds. Whole foods don't need an ingredient label.

Obesity: Good nutrition and good habits is one way to prevent or minimize the present obesity epidemic in america. Teaching children good choices, like fresh fruit as snack instead of sugar and fat layden candy bars- can help to prevent obesity. Good nutrition from fresh fruits and vegetables also provides more nutrients than from processed higher calorie foods.
