Not classically: Diabetes most commonly presents with a triad of symptoms - polydipsia ( increased drinking), polyuria (excessive urination), and polyphagia (excessive eating), this may or may not present with weight loss due to the dehydration that accompanies the polyuria. The best way to diagnose diabetes is with a fasting blood sugar level as well as a Hb A1c level ( marker for chronic hyperglycemia).
