Asthma Variable: Yes, we sometimes see this that asthma as a child has a period of improvement, but during later adulthood can resurface during pregnancy or other life events. Good to get back with your primary care doctor and put together an asthma action plan again, review your medicines, and when to take which one. A peak flow meter is helpful to assess the severity of your episode. Be sure and use spacer!

Yes: Asthma is a chronic condition of increased small airway reactions. There are genetic and environmental factors that persist throughout life, usually becoming evident in childhood. One learns to live with their asthma & present medications offer a near normal existence to most. There is no cure, there are programs that promote stability & reduced flare ups through early recognition of problems.
