Unlikely: Many other causes of your daughter's symptoms but cancer not likely. Sounds like your gastroenterologist wants to look at the inside of her colon, perhaps do some biopsies to try and figure out a proper diagnosis and treatment for her condition. Absolutely the correct thing to do. A difficult condition to have, esp for a 10 y/o little girl. My thoughts and prayers with your daughter and family
