Stone: Relax, you are in the right hands. Urology likely taking good care of you. Blood in the urine could be due to the stone itself, or some have asymptomatic microscopic hematuria which means you cannot see it with the naked eye. Usually there is nothing to do with this but your urologist may proceed to a cystoscopy and likely has already done an ultrasound of the kidneys.

See urologist: A small stone could cause blood in urine. However, with the amount of blood you have and the pain, something else may be going on. Get a urinalysis with microscopic exam and a urine culture (be sure you are not on antibiotics when the urine is collected). Get a CT of the abdomen and pelvis without contrast to accurately define the stone and with contrast to look for a tumor.
