Heartburn: pregnant: Increased acid production is common in pregnancy, and this is normal. To combat this eat more often, and small amounts so as not to gain more weight, which is not good for pregnancy. Mild antacids do not generally help, but ask your healthcare provider for medications to reduce the acid production, which should help.
