Cough/congestion: Recurrent symptoms within a family may indicate you are passing an infection back and forth. It could also mean that you are all being exposed to something in the house that is making you sick. Practice good germ control. Follow up with your MD to see if you all require treatment. Have your house assessed for a toxin. All the best and I hope you are all better soon.

Family illness: Why would this be "the seasons"? does this happen to your family every year at the same time for months? if not then it is likely an infection that your family is passing around to each member. You need to see the doctor as a family to help determine the cause and prescribe a treatment. This is not normal.
