Need to ask doctor: Your need to ask the ordering doctor as serum creatinine varies with sex, age, and muscle mass.

Creatinine 1.3: For a female your age, this value is a bit elevated. Creatinine comes from muscle and can be normal at 1.3 for a muscular person. If you are muscular and active, this value could be normal for you, but for an average female, this value would reflect reduced clearance and then be concerning, reflecting a kidney clearance impairment either from an intrinsic disease or partial obstruction.

Borderline.: Tiny bit high. I wouldn't worry in the short term but I would monitor it every few months for now and fast track to a kidney specialist if it continues to rise. Certain medications can increase creatinine.
