Single Kidney: You did not mention why your kidney was removed. Please get RENAL Ultrasound to ascertain there are no anatomic problems, such as hydronephrosis, with the remaining kidney. Also infection or stones (obstruction) can also compromise the residual kidney function. Please see a qualified Nephrologist (kidney Specialist)
