I drink 1 can of coke zero every other day but on some days when i drink a sip it tastes extremely bad(weird chemical) taste.what can cause it?

Phenylalanine: Coke Zero contains the following: Carbonated water, caramel, phosphoric acid, aspartame (which contains phenylalanine). The ammino acid is known to effect your taste. One thought I would have is perhaps you have been eating something more acidic prior to when it taste "funny" as aspartame breaks down easier in an acidic enviroment.
