Short period: At 26, your cycles should be predictable, so a short two day bleeding episode could indicate pregnancy. Obtain a serum HCG pregnancy test from your healthcare provider. If negative, the short period may just be due to continued progesterone production in the ovary, which will prevent normal bleeding. This latter may cause discomfort in the left or right lower abdomen. See your provider for advice.
