Have it checked by: your doctor to make sure you don't have bicipital tendonitis, tears, or issues with rotator cuff. Normally it follows the bicipital groove, and can become inflamed or injured during athletics, and requires attention. Also, do get a 2nd opinion from a Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (NMM) osteopathic physician (DO), who can help direct it back anatomically into the groove to provide relief.
