Tired after nap: Likely the primary problem is a disorder of the sleep-wake cycle. Your body needs to sleep at night for about 6-8 hours. Most people will feel rested and energetic after this. Exceptions occur in people who are depressed, taking certain medications, or have other medical disorders. Naps are an attempt to remedy this. Naps should generally be only 20 minutes.
