Look for the cause: People overeat for many reasons, so the first step is to figure out what is pushing you to the behavior. Seek help.: Your listed history of depression could lead to overeating secondarily. With adequate treatment, your overeating could stop. Otherwise, adding fiber to your diet will curb your appetite and reduce the tendency to overeat.
