Depends on treatment: Surgery: risks of surgery, infection bleeding etc. Longterm: urine incontinence, decrease in errection radiation: rectal and bladder irritation, possible bleeding/ulceration, decrease in errection hormones: loss of errection and sexual desire, hot flashes, breast enlargement, adverse effect on bones of course this is just a short list but a good snap shot.
