Bad breath: Chronic bad breath may be due to: smoking, chronic dental decay and periodontal infection, abscessed tonsils, certain lung conditions like brochiectasis, chronic sinus infection, certain foods (if consumed regularly), and there are a few genetic causes (unfortunately, as yet there are not readily available tests for these conditions).

Pancreas: Issues with pancreas causes food to rot and creates bad breath and acid reflux. Use pancreatic enzymes - prescription is Creon otc is serropeptidase need 1 weekof rx. That is if you smell it - if others around you complain of bad breath the answer from dr. Kopes-kerr might be the problem.

Many possibilities: The most common reason for persistent bad breath is forgetting to brush the tongue. There are some esoteric reasons that might be the cause, but lack of tongue brushing is the by far the most common.

Also the type of food you eat or other factors like smoking can effect your breath. Rec.: see a dentist to fix your cavities and determine the cause of the problem and proper treatment.
