Will slow metabolism: Not eating will slow metabolism and will decrease the number of calories you burn. Eating small portions of healthy foods throughout the day will increase your metabolism to stimulate calorie burn. More calories are also burned when digesting protein. Another simple method is eat no more than 40-50 grams of carbs in a 4 hr period. The weight will come off slow, but steady.
