Ask your doc: You should have addressed this question to the your MD who ordered it. Don't be afraid to ask in the future before you leave his office. He will be more than glad to Explain.Otherwise he will assume you know or understand. In general an echocardiogram is ordered to see if you have some kind of heart abnormality that may cause your slow heart beat
