Anything else?: Hi. Periods can be irregular or absent for several hormonal reasons, mostly involving the ovaries, adrenals, or pituitary. Did you go through normal puberty? Did periods used to be regular then change, or have they always been irregular? Do you have any male-type hair growth? Do you have any breast milk production? See your gyn or an endocrinologist for an evaluation. Good luck!
