Acne more hormonal: Acne is now thought to be more hormonal than diet related so avoiding chocolate & french fries probably doesn't help much for young people with acne. There are large categories of foods thought to promote inflammation including sugars, refined grains, transfats, dairy products, processed meats, and alcohol to name a few. Limit those, and you will be eating a low inflammatory diet!
